How does Practice Growth manage my web profiles?
Practice Growth ensures all your practice information (name, address, phone number, photos, etc.) is consistent, accurate, and complete across 65+ web profiles. Optimizing your listings across the web improves your visibility and ranking in search results, enhancing your overall web presence.
These 65+ listings can be accessed via the Profiles section in your Practice Portal. Listing include: Yahoo!, Bing, Apple, Mapquest, White & Yellow Pages, Rate MD, City Search, and Search Local.

Google My Business
Google My Business (GMB) can help your practice’s ranking on Google in local search, and enhance your presence in Maps.
What does Practice Growth do for my GMB listing?
- Claim and optimize: We claim your GMB listing(s) to then optimize it based on Google’s guidelines with accurate information and photos.
- Consolidate listings: We search for duplicate listings across the web to check that there is one listing for each location and provider. This follows Google’s best practices, and ensures that patient reviews are going to the correct, optimized listing.
- Publish posts weekly: The more activity your GMB listing has (ie reviews, Google posts, Q&A), the better chance of ranking higher in the local three-pack and organic local rankings.
Access:
“Owner” access is shared with Practice Growth. This allows us to manage Google Posts and be able to reach out to Google support on your behalf in order to update your (listing) as needed.
WebMD/MD.com
WebMD and MD.com are frequently visited by potential patients researching symptoms and looking for a new healthcare provider. We update your provider profiles on WebMD and MD.com to be consistent with their information on your new site.
*Edits can take a minimum of 4 weeks to publish on these profiles.
