Key Indicators Reports

The Key Indicators reports can be used to monitor the overall financial health of the practice.

Navigate to Key Indicators Reports

  • Click Reports > Key Indicators. The Key Indicators reports drop-down menu displays.

Key Indicators Reports and Descriptions

Below are the available key indicators reports and brief descriptions.

Report Name Description
Reporting Dashboard Provides a dashboard view of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) such as accounts receivables, claim accuracy, top claim rejections and denials, and claims that require attention.
Revenue Cycle Performance (Beta) Defaults to the current month. Provides billing and collections performance ratings based on goals set by the practice for claim submission and electronic remittance advice (ERA) posting turnaround times.
Key Indicators Summary (Beta) Defaults to Month To Date. Pulls data by the Post Date of the records (e.g., Encounter, Payment) and/or the Posting Date of the transaction (e.g., Adjustment, Payment). Provides a summary list of important indicators associated with the financial performance of the practice. This report is a newer version of the Key Indicators Summary report that lists the same details (e.g., Charges, Adjustments, Receipts, A/R, etc.) grouped by provider, but also includes unapplied, credit, and refund amounts.
Key Indicators Summary Defaults to Month To Date. Pulls data by the Post Date of the records (e.g., Encounter, Payment) and/or the Posting Date of the transaction (e.g., Adjustment, Payment). Provides a summary list of important indicators associated with the financial performance of the practice. The list includes details (e.g., Charges, Adjustments, Receipts, A/R ,etc.) grouped by provider.
Key Indicators Summary Compare Previous Year Defaults to Month To Date. Pulls data by the Post Date of the records (e.g., Encounter, Payment) and/or the Posting Date of the transaction (e.g., Adjustment, Payment). Provides a comparison summary list of key indicators for the current year with key indicators for the same period in the previous year. The list includes details (e.g., Charges, Adjustments, Receipts, A/R ,etc.) grouped by provider.
Key Indicators Detail Defaults to Month To Date. Pulls data by the Post Date of the records (e.g., Encounter, Payment) and/or the Posting Date of the transaction (e.g., Adjustment, Payment). Provides a detailed list of important indicators associated with the financial performance of the practice. The list includes details (e.g., Charges, Adjustments, Receipts, A/R ,etc.) grouped by provider.
Days Revenue Outstanding Analysis Defaults to Month To Date. Pulls data by the Service Date of the Encounter record, Billed Date of the Claim record, and Post Date of the Payment record. Provides a list of each procedure and the average number of days the charge was outstanding from the date of service until the date of payment. The list includes details (e.g., patient information, procedure, charge amounts, etc.) grouped by provider.
