Rejection Message

Service Unit Count is required and must be valid. 2400.SV1*04

Rejection Details

This rejection indicates the service line(s) was submitted with a Unit Count of 0.

Resolution

To edit the unit count:

  1. Click Encounters > Track Claim Status. The Find Claim window opens.
  2. Look for and double click the appropriate claim to open. The Edit Claim window opens.
  3. Double click the Encounter ID number. The Edit Encounter window opens.
  4. Under the Procedures section, enter a unit count for service line(s) with zero (0) under the Units column.
    Note: Unit counts less than 0.4 are not supported and causes the count to round down to zero (0). If the unit count is less than 0.4, contact Customer Care for further assistance.
  5. Click Save & Rebill.

Then, resubmit all affected claims when ready.
