Rejection Details

This rejection indicates the claim was submitted without the provider’s Submitter ID.

Noridian requires the provider to submit their Submitter ID in the 2010AA Loop,REF*FH segment of the ANSI file for electronic claims.

Resolution

This payer assigns each provider a unique Submitter ID number. If you do not know the provider’s Submitter ID please contact the payer directly.

Follow the instructions below to populate the submitter ID:

1. Click Settings > Providers. The Find Provider window opens.
2. Look for and open the provider record. The Edit Provider window opens.
3. Click on the Claim Settings tab.
4. Click Add. The Override Claim Setting window opens.
5. Click Insurance Company. The Select Insurance Company window opens.
6. Look for and select the appropriate Medicare insurance company.
7. Click the “Show advanced settings” checkbox.
8. Enter the Submitter ID in the Submitter Number field.
9. Click Save all the way out (multiple saves may be required).

Then, rebill and resubmit all affected claims.
