Rejection Details

This rejection indicates the Referring provider last name submitted on the claim was in an incorrect format.

Special characters are not allowed in the Name field.

Resolution

Follow the instructions below to add the referring provider last name:

1. Click Settings > Other Lists > Find Referring Physicians. The Find Referring Physicians window opens.
2. Look for and double-click on the referring provider that needs correcting. The Edit Referring Physician window opens.
3. Verify that spelling of the provider's name is correct, edit as necessary and remove any special characters.
4. Click Save.

Then, rebill and resubmit all affected claims.
