Clinical

AI Patient Summary

To empower providers and streamline pre-visit prep, Tebra’s AI Note Assist now includes an automated AI Patient Summary that generates a concise, chief-complaint-tailored overview directly within AI Note. By surfacing key data (e.g., recent notes, active problems, medications, allergies, and lab results) before each appointment, it eliminates manual chart digging and significantly cuts review time. This allows providers to spend less time on paperwork and focus entirely on delivering high-quality patient care.

An AI patient summary generates when all of the following conditions are met:

  • The provider is subscribed to AI Note Assist or generated an AI Note within the last 30 days.
  • The patient should have at least 3 signed clinical notes, discrete vital entries, and active medications as applicable.
  • An appointment for the patient is scheduled before midnight the day before the appointment.
Note: If the appointment is schedule the same or after the cut off time, an AI patient summary will not be generated.

Feature will be deployed to customers in phases and completed by end of August 2026.
