Updated: 06/23/2023|Views: 3522

Tebra settings enable you to easily create a customized list of Note Types relevant to your practice. Choose to inactivate one or more Note Types to remove them from the available list, or use the Specialty Filter to automatically deactivate any Note Type that does not apply to your specialty.

Access Note Types

  1. Hover over the User icon and click on My Settings. The My Settings page opens.
  2. Click Note Types. The Note Types page opens.

Select Your Specialty

The Specialty Filter quickly defaults to a set of Note Types appropriate for the selected specialty.

  1. Click Set Specialty Filter. The Set Your Specialty Filter pop-up window opens.
  2. Click More Actions and select the specialty that is most applicable to the practice from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click Apply Filter. Note Types that do not apply to the specialty are automatically moved to the Inactive list.
    1. Log out and log back in for changes to apply.

Deactivate Note Types

Note Types can be individually deactivated as needed by the practice. Deactivated notes are moved to the Inactive tab.

  1. Click the Active tab.
  2. Click to select one or more Note Types to deactivate.
  3. Click Deactivate. A green confirmation message displays and the selected Note Types moves to the Inactive list.

Reactivate Note Type

Deactivated Note Types are not deleted but remain in the Inactive list until reactivated.
  1. Click the Inactive tab to view the list of deactivated Note Types.
  2. Click to select the Note Type to activate.
  3. Click Activate. A green confirmation message displays and the selected Note Types moves to the Active list.
