Manage Profile Basics

Provider Profile is an online tool that helps you highlight key information about your practice and promote your services to the public. Complete your profile to help attract more patients and expand your digital presence. Add basic provider information to provide insight about who you are and make it easier for patients to find you online.

Access Provider Profile Editor

  1. Hover over the Platform icon and click on Provider Profiles. The Provider Profiles page opens.
  2. Click Manage on the right of the provider name. The Provider Profile page opens.

Manage Profile Details

Allow 24-48 hours for saved changes to take effect.

  1. Licensing: The provider's National Provider Identifier (NPI) must be populated for the Care Connect profile to properly list on Tebra Care Connect.
    1. To enter the NPI, click Edit. The editor opens.
    2. Enter the provider's 10-digit NPI number.
      icon_tip.png Tip: Valid the provider's NPI via the NPPES NPI Registry.
    3. Click Save Changes when finished.
  2. Name and Gender: Enter the provider's prefix, first and last name, suffix, and gender.
    Note: The provider's name displayed on the Care Connect profile is the name associated with the NPI entered. Changes to the provider name on the Care Connect profile are not supported at this time.
    1. To manage the name and gender, click Edit. The editor opens.
    2. Enter applicable changes.
    3. Click Save Changes when finished.
  3. Years Practicing: Select the number of years the provider has been practicing.
    1. To enter the amount of years, click Edit. The editor opens.
    2. Click the Years Practicing drop-down arrow and select the number of years.
    3. Click Save Changes when finished.
  4. Speciality: The provider's specialty displayed on the Care Connect profile is associated with the NPI entered.

  1. Languages Spoken: Add languages the providers speaks.
    1. To add languages, click Edit. The editor opens.
    2. Click the Languages Spoken drop-down arrow and select a language from the drop-down list.
    3. Click Add to add the selected language. Add additional languages, as applicable.
    4. If multiple languages have been added, click and drag the bar icon to re-order the list.
    5. To remove a language, click the trash icon.
    6. Click Save Changes.

  1. Profile Photo: Add a photo of the provider to display on the Care Connect profile.
    1. To add or change a photo, click Edit. The editor opens.
    2. Click Upload your own. The Edit Profile Photo pop-up window opens.

  1. Drag and drop an image or click browse to upload an image. The image must meet the following criteria to be uploaded:
    • File type: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .tif, or .gif
    • File size: smaller than 2mb
    • Measurements: minimum 200 pixels in width and 200 pixels in height
  2. Adjust Photo: If applicable, adjust the position or change the aspect ratio of the image.
    • Reposition image: Click, hold, and drag the image.
    • Crop image: Click and drag the corners of the crop box adjust the size.
  3. Click Crop when finished.

  1. Review the image and click Confirm crop to add the photo. The photo is saved and displays in the provider's profile.
    • To edit the placement or crop of the image, click Redo Crop.
