kFax Number

A kFax number is a fax number to which documents can be faxed and automatically stored within the Desktop Application (PM). System Administrators can permanently assign a kFax number to each practice until they choose to release the kFax number from the practice.

Get kFax Number

  1. Find the practice then double click to open it. The Edit Practice window opens.
  2. Click Get kFax Number. The kFax number assignment pop-up message appears. 
  3. Click OK. The kFax number is assigned and populates kFax # under the Contact Information section of the practice.
    Note: The kFax number also displays under the To Do List on the Dashboard upon next log in.

Release kFax Number

  1. Find the practice then double click to open it. The Edit Practice window opens.
  2. Click Release kFax Number. A warning message appears.
  3. To confirm the permanent release of the kFax number associated with the practice and to disable the service, click Yes. A confirmation pop-up appears.
  4. Click OK. The kFax number is released.
