Once default encounter forms are created and associated with the Provider record(s), they can be printed directly from the calendar views or the Appointments drop-down menu option, Print Encounter Forms. The forms print with the practice name, provider's name, patient's demographic information, and date of the encounter. When printing encounter forms from the Appointments drop-down menu option, you can select a specific date range, service location, provider, patient, and/or payer scenario.
Print Encounter Forms
- Click Appointments > Print Encounter Forms. The Print Encounter Forms - Step 1 window opens.
Tip: For faster navigation, press Alt+A then P on the keyboard.

- Select Appointments to Print:
- Start and End Date: Defaults to the current date. Enter the date range of the appointments to print as necessary.
- Service Location: Defaults to all. To select a specific service location, click the drop-down arrow.
- Provider: Defaults to all. To search and select a specific provider, click Provider.
- Patient: Defaults to all. To search and select a specific patient, click Patient.
- Payer Scenario: Defaults to all. To select a specific payer scenario, click the drop-down arrow.
- Order By: By default, Last Name is selected. To select to print in order of Time, click the drop-down arrow.
- When finished, click Print Encounter Forms. The Print Encounter Forms - Step 2 window opens indicating the forms are being analyzed. Then, the Print dialog box opens.
- Print the encounter forms using the computer's print function. Once complete, the Print Encounter Forms - Step 3 window opens.

- Click to select Yes or No to confirm if the encounter forms printed correctly.
- Then, click OK to close the window.
