What is eLabs? | Tebra offers the flexibility to go paperless by ordering patient lab tests electronically. With electronic lab ordering (eLab), providers can instantly send requests to labs of their choice and receive real-time results that automatically record in a patient's chart. Using eLabs can help streamline and accelerate your workflow by eliminating the manual processes of writing, printing, and faxing separate orders. Above all, eLab ordering reduces errors and provides greater efficiency - so you can easily manage treatment and provide better care for your patients. |

How do I submit my request to enroll for eLabs with Quest? | A connection request for Quest requires that you have an account number prior to enrollment. If you already have an account number for Quest, reach out to your Quest lab representative directly and advise them you want to integrate with Tebra EMR via ELLKAY. The practice can also submit request to Quest via getmyinterface.com with the following vendor information:

How do I get my lab account number? | If you do not know the account number, reach out to your lab representative for assistance. |
Do all providers in the practice need to enroll for eLabs? | No. eLabs enrollment is completed at the practice level. |
What is the cost to enroll for eLabs? | This service is included with Clinical subscription. However, some labs may charge the practice. Please contact the lab directly for more information. |
Once the eLabs enrollment request is submitted, how long does it take to process? | Successful enrollment typically takes 8 weeks. However, the timeline can vary depending on the lab. |
What is the next step after submitting my enrollment request? | The Enrollments Team will review and process the submitted request within 3 business days. After processing the request, the Enrollments Team will send the eLab enrollment request to the eLab vendor for review to establish a connection with the lab. |
Where can I get an enrollment status update? | The Enrollments Team may not be notified by the lab or eLab vendor when a request is denied. If you have not received any updates within the standard turnaround time, follow-up with your lab representative for more information. |
Can I request a connection to a lab not on the eLab Partner List? | Yes. Additional processing time may be required to integrate the lab's system into Tebra. However, lab connection approvals are not guaranteed, so it's recommended to prioritize your eLab partner choices based on labs where you have an established business relationship and send your patients the most. |
