Delete Unmatched Lab Results

Electronic lab results that cannot be matched to a patient or ordering provider display under the Labs and Studies Unmatched tab. These results will need to be manually matched to a patient and ordering provider. If the lab results was misrouted to the practice by the lab, delete the unmatched lab.

Delete Unmatched Lab

  1. Hover over the Clinical icon and click on Labs/Studies. The Labs/Studies page opens.
  2. Click Unmatched. Unmatched lab orders displays.
  3. Click Review. The unmatched lab opens.
  1. Click the up arrow and click Delete. The Delete Lab Result confirmation window opens.
  2. Click Delete to remove the lab order.
