Vital Reference Ranges
Vital signs are measures of a body's most basic functions. They are useful in detecting or monitoring medical problems. As such, there are ranges to identify normal and abnormal conditions for each vital. Anything outside of these ranges will trigger a message asking if the value entered is correct. A user has the opportunity to correct the vital or continue without making a change.
Review the Adult Vitals or Pediatrics Vitals tables for the reference ranges.
