Change Superbill Status

Use status to track the progression of superbills and submit to the Desktop Application (Billing Subscriber only) when ready. The superbill status can be changed from the Superbills page or from a clinical note.

From Superbills

Change the status for one or more superbills.

  1. Hover over the Clinical icon and click on Superbills. The Superbills page opens.
  2. Click to select the superbill(s).
  3. Select the desired Status from the drop-down.
  4. Click Save. The status for the selected superbill(s) updates.

From Clinical Note

Change the status of a specific superbill.

  1. Enter the first 2–3 letters of the patient's name or date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy) in the top navigation bar search box.
  2. Click to select the patient from the auto-populated results. The patient's Facesheet page opens.
  3. Click Notes. The Notes page opens.
  4. Click Open next to desired note. The Note opens.
  5. Click Superbill. The Superbill Coding pop-up window opens.
  6. Select the desired Status from the drop-down.
  7. Click Save. The status for the superbill updates.

Work in Progress The superbill was just created or is currently be worked on. Yes
Ready to Review The superbill is ready to be reviewed and can be edited as necessary. Yes
Need Revision The superbill needs to be updated. Yes
Ready to Submit The superbill has been completed and confirmed. The superbill is ready to be submitted to the Desktop Application. After submission, the superbill can no longer be edited. No
