Enable or Disable Online Scheduling Visit Reasons

System Administrators can enable visit reasons for patients to select on the provider's Tebra Care Connect profile or the Practice Online Scheduler. This creates the ability for practices to customize their visit reason duration and spend less time managing appointment scheduling while optimizing their schedule.

Note: Visit reasons are configured at the practice level. Every visit reason is publicly displayed for all providers in the practice with online booking enabled.

Available for Engage subscribers.

Access Visit Reasons

  1. Hover over the User icon and click on Practice Settings. The Practice Settings page opens.
  2. Click Visit Reasons. The Visit Reasons page opens.

Enable Online Scheduling Visit Reasons

icon_tip.png Tip: Before enabling this feature, verify the visit reason names are descriptive with appropriate terminology to help patients select the option that best fits their needs.

  1. Click the Allow patients to select from visit reasons when scheduling online toggle to turn on. The confirmation pop-up window opens.
  2. Click Turn On to confirm.
    Note: Allow one hour for saved changes to take effect.

Disable Online Scheduling Visit Reasons

  1. Click the Allow patients to select from visit reasons when scheduling online toggle to turn off. The confirmation pop-up window opens.
  2. Click Turn Off to confirm.
    Note: Allow one hour for saved changes to take effect.
