Account Verification

| When verifying a profile, can I use my personal number for the phone verification? | You can use your personal number to verify the Google Business Profile. However, the phone number used for verification can not be changed once the profile is verified. Using a business phone number is recommended since it will appear on the Google Search and Maps results. Phone verification can be completed via call or text message. The phone number used for the verification can not have a phone tree setup. |
| Do I need to be connected to WiFi to complete verification? | To complete any Google Business verification, you must be connected to WiFi or have cellular data. If you are completing a business video verification and the WiFi does not reach outside the building, it is recommended to complete the verification using cellular data to make sure that the video is processed correctly. |
| Can I change the Google Business Profile verification method? | The verification method, determined by Google, can not be changed. If you have difficulty completing the offered verification, contact Google support for assistance. |
| Why does my Google listing say “processing” after I complete the verification? | Your profile has been successfully verified, but the listing is not yet published. Publishing often takes about five business days. If your profile has been in this status for over five business days, there may be an issue on Google's end. Contact Google support for assistance |

| How do I give Tebra access to my Google Business Profile? | Review Manage your Business Profile owners & managers to learn how to add Tebra as a Manager of the practice’s Google Business Profile. Important Note: Instead of adding an email address, add code 5500603641 for Tebra. Then, assign Tebra as an owner or manager - the practice will remain the primary owner. Repeat the steps for all applicable Google Business Profiles. |

| How do I make myself the Primary Owner of my Google listing? | If you are currently an owner of the listing, you can transfer primary ownership to yourself. If you do not have ownership access to your listing, contact Customer Care. Seven days after being an owner of the listing, you will be able to transfer primary ownership to yourself. | Can I change the link on the Google Book Online button? | You cannot directly edit the Google Book Online button on your Google Business Profile because it is controlled by the integration between Google and the third-party booking platform you use (e.g., Tebra, ZocDoc, etc.). You can contact the third-party booking platform and request that the button be removed or added. |
| How do I improve my local ranking on Google? | Local results are mainly based on relevance, distance, and popularity. To help your ranking, verify the practice’s Google Business Profile has the most up to date information. Resource: Tips to improve your local ranking on Google |
| Why does my profile say “Submitted” in the Tebra dashboard? | Tebra uses a third-party provider that allows us to push business information to online profiles simultaneously. You can find a complete list of those profiles in the practice's dashboard under Insights > Profiles. For some profiles, you may notice that the status is "Submitted." This means that the business information has been submitted to the profile host but is not displaying because our third-party provider cannot find an existing profile for the profile host. The profile status "Submitted" will persist until our third party can connect a profile with the business information. To expedite this process, click View to navigate to the profile host and create a profile for the business. Once the profile is created, our third-party provider can forward the business information to the profile. |
| Can I list more than one address on a Google Business Profile? | No, Google only allows one address per Google Business Profile. |
| Can I have more than one website on my Google Business Profile? | No, Google only allows one website per Google Business Profile. |

| Can I add more than one category to my Google listing? | Yes, you can add multiple categories to your Google Business Profile. However, only the first business category will appear on the listing. | Can you add photos to a Google Business Profile? | Yes, you can add photos to your Google Business Profile to showcase your business, attract customers, and improve your online presence. Resource: Tips for business-specific photos on your Business Profile |
| Can you remove photos from a Google Business Profile? | Yes, photos can be removed from a Google Business Profile, but only under certain conditions. If you added the photo yourself, you can delete it directly. Resource: Manage photos or videos for your Business Profile If a customer or third party uploaded a photo that violates Google’s content policies, you can flag it for removal. Google will review your request, and if it determines the photo violates their policies, it will be removed. If you can’t remove a photo or believe it violates your rights (e.g., trademark, copyright, or privacy issues), contact Google support for assistance. | Who is posting on my Google Business Profile? | Tebra’s automated posting system posts to Google Business Profiles weekly. |
| What happens if I cancel my Tebra subscription? | Thirty days before your last day of service, Tebra will email you your last date of service along with domain details and profiles. The following profiles will be transferred to the practice: Google Business Profile(s) and Google Analytics, as well as instructions on how to claim your healthcare profiles. We will also provide you with detailed information regarding your domain. |
| Can I delete my Google Business Profile? | Google Business Profiles can be marked as Permanently Closed or Temporarily Closed if the business is no longer active. Resource: Mark your business as closed |
| My Google listing is suspended. What should I do? | If your Google Business Profile is suspended, the first step is to identify the reason for the suspension by checking your Google Business Profile manager for notifications and carefully review Google's guidelines to see if you've violated any policies. Then, address the issues by correcting any inaccurate information on your profile, remove any inappropriate content, and verify your location, before submitting an appeal through the Google Business Profile appeals tool to request reinstatement of your listing. To begin the process of reinstating your profile(s), follow the Fix suspended or disabled profiles instructions. |

Manage Reviews

| Can we move Google reviews to another listing? | No. Google does not allow the direct transfer of reviews from one Google Business Profile to another. Reviews are tied to the specific profile where they were left and cannot be moved between profiles. |

| Can we have reviews go to more than one listing at a time? | Google Reviews are tied to individual Google Business Profile listings. Therefore, reviews are associated with a single listing and cannot automatically appear on multiple listings. |
| How do I respond to Google reviews? | Practices can reply to reviews in Tebra or via Google Business Profile.

| Can you remove 1-star reviews? | You cannot directly remove a 1-star review from Google unless you are the one who posted it. However, there are steps you can take if you believe the review violates Google's policies or if you'd like to address it constructively:

| Can I receive notifications when we get a review? | Yes, you can receive notifications for reviews directly from Google and/or from Tebra.

| Can someone leave more than one review on my Google listing? | No, according to Google's guidelines, a person can only leave one review on a Google Business Profile listing using a single Gmail account. |
