Encounters Reports

Encounters reports can be used to view information about encounters that have been entered.

Navigate to Encounters Reports

  • Click Reports > Encounters. The Encounters reports drop-down menu displays.

Encounters Reports and Descriptions

Below are the available encounters reports and brief descriptions.

Report Name Description
Encounters Summary Defaults to Month To Date. Pulls data by the Post Date of the Encounter record and provides a summary of all encounters grouped by status (e.g., Approved, Draft, Review).
Encounters Detail Defaults to Month To Date. Pulls data by the Post Date of the Encounter record and provides a detailed list of encounters. The list includes details (e.g., ID, Batch, Patient) grouped by status (e.g., Approved, Draft, Review).
Charges Summary Defaults to Month To Date. Pulls data by the Post Date of the Encounter record and provides a summary of charges grouped by rendering provider.
Charges Detail Defaults to Month To Date posting date. The report must first be customized to generate a detailed list of charges. Once generated, the list includes details (e.g., Patient Name, Code, Location) grouped by rendering provider.
Settled Charges Summary Defaults to Month To Date. Pulls data by the Settled transaction date and groups by total charges, corresponding adjustments and payments.
Missed Encounters Defaults to Today (current day). Pulls data by the date of the appointment and provides a summary of appointments with no associated encounter grouped by rendering provider.
Charges Export Defaults to Month To Date service date. The report must first be customized to generate the export of data then saved as an Excel or CSV file. This is the most detailed charges report including information such as patient details, procedure and diagnosis code details, payer details, payment details, etc.
