Discontinue Patient Medication

When the patient is no longer taking a medication, mark them as discontinued.

Access Patient Medications

  1. Enter the first 2–3 letters of the patient's name or date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy) in the top navigation bar search box.
  2. Click to select the patient from the auto-populated results. The patient's Facesheet page opens.
  3. Click Medications. The Active Medications page opens.

Discontinue Medication

  1. Click to select the medication(s) to discontinue.
  2. Click Discontinue. The Discontinue Selected pop-up window opens.
  3. Click Yes or Yes, with Comments to confirm. The medication is moved to the Discontinued tab.
