Authorize Provider for EPCS

Updated: 07/07/2023|Views: 33043

After completing EPCS enrollment, authorize providers to ePrescribe controlled substances in Tebra. A System Administrator and the prescribing provider with their EPCS token and passphrase is required to complete the process.

Warning_Icon.png Important Note: The System Administrator must be an individual who knows the provider and is not the provider themselves. If you are a single provider practice, per the EPCSGolds LAC Guide, this individual can be a son, daughter, neighbor, spouse, or significant other as long as they know the provider and are over the age of 18. This step must be completed before accessing Logical Access Control or LAC.

Warning_Icon.png Disclaimer: Failure to follow these steps may result in deactivation of your EPCS privileges until such time as you re-complete the identify proofing process (IDP) for EPCS. IDP includes, but is not limited to, background/credit check(s), hard/soft token activation, and new EPCS LAC activation.
