Once the terminal device is received, complete the device setup and pair the device to Tebra. Your terminal device offers a reliable and secure in-person payments solution that supports chip, swipe, and contactless payments.
Available for Tebra Payments activated practices.
Terminal Device Setup
Tebra offers two different terminal devices: Ingenico Link 2500 and Ingenico Lane 3600. Follow the instructions for the corresponding device to set up the terminal.
Ingenico Link 2500
Before getting started, ensure the package includes the terminal, installation guide, a USB-C to USB A cable, wall adapter and a battery pack.
For detailed instructions and troubleshooting, refer to the complete user guide provided with your card reader.
- Place the Ingenico Link 2500 near an electrical outlet, away from heat, dust, and electromagnetic radiations.
- Connect one end of the USB-C cable to the terminal and the other end to a power source. For the first charge, let it charge for at least four hours.
Note: Subsequent charges will be quicker.
- After the battery is charged, press and hold the green button on the keypad to turn on the terminal. Look for the triPOS logo on the display.

- Once it displays triPOS, enter the Admin access code: 0001. The Admin Menu screen displays.
- Configuring Network Settings:
- Select 1-Communication Type. Then, select WiFi.
- Press the yellow button to go back to the previous menu and select 2-WiFi Parameters. Then, select Scan Networks.
- Choose your network, enter the password, and press the green button to connect.
Note: If the password includes special characters, press the button on the bottom left of the touch screen to access special characters.
- Press the yellow button to go back to the previous menu and select My Networks. Verify the network is connected.
- Advanced Setup: If applicable, assign a Static IP:
- Select 2-WiFi Parameters. Then, select Default IP Configuration.
- Turn off DHCP by selecting DHCP activation > Off and confirm by pressing the green enter key.
- Enter the Static IP and subnet mask provided by your IT team, confirming each by pressing the green enter key.
- Press the yellow button until the prompt to save the settings and to restart the device.
- Unplug the device. Then, press and hold the # button and the yellow button simultaneously until the device restarts.
- Once the device restarts and finishes loading, the activation code displays on the screen. The Ingenico Link 2500 is ready to pair with Tebra.

Ingenico Lane 3600
Before getting started, ensure the package includes the terminal, installation guide, power supply unit, and cables specific to the practice's connectivity requirements.
For detailed instructions and troubleshooting, refer to the complete user guide provided with your card reader.
- Place the Ingenico Lane 3600 upside down near an electrical outlet, away from heat, dust, and electromagnetic radiations.
- Connect the power cable and an ethernet cable to the back of the card reader. Then, connect the corresponding cable to the power supply unit.
Caution: Avoid using any other power supply to prevent damage.
- Plug in the power supply into an electrical outlet. The Ingenico Lane 3600 powers on and is ready to pair with Tebra.

Pair Terminal Device
Once the Terminal Device has an internet connection, pair the device in the Tebra web platform.
Access Terminal Settings
- Hover over the User icon and click on Practice Settings. The Practice Settings page opens.
- Click Tebra Payments. Additional setting options expands.
- Click Terminal Settings. The Terminal Settings page opens.

Pair New Device
- Click Pair New Device. The Enter a Device Name pop-up window opens.
- Enter the Device Name.
Tip: Enter a descriptive name (e.g., Back Office, Front Office) so staff members can quickly identify the correct terminal.
- Click Next. The Pair a New Device pop-up window opens.

- Enter the Activation Code displayed on the terminal device. Then, click Pair Device. The confirmation pop-up window opens.
Tip: Ensure the device is powered on and connect to the internet via an ethernet cable.
- The device is paired and the Device ID, Serial Number, Model Number, and Device Name displays.
- Click Close when finished.
Note: If this is the first time the device is pair, the device may need to restarted twice after entering the activation code. Once the device fully loads after the restart, refresh the Terminal Settings page to view the device details.
Once the Tebra Terminal setup is complete, begin collecting patient payments.
Note: It is recommended to create a test patient in Tebra and test new Tebra Terminal transactions such as a credit card payment via chip, swipe or contactless payment method, and processing a refund.
