Tebra Payments Terminal: Purchase Device

Tebra Payments activated practices can now purchase a terminal device to process all card-present transactions. The selected devices seamlessly integrate with online payments, natively supporting chip, swipe, and contactless payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. Both devices are designed for security and compliance, offering end-to-end encryption to ensure transactions are safe and Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant.

Note: These terminal devices are not compatible with Patient Collect (Stripe). Review Stripe Terminal: Purchase Reader to learn how to purchase a terminal device specifically for Patient Collect (Stripe) activated practices.

Purchase Terminal Device

  1. Click Settings > Patient Payments. The Tebra Payments Settings opens.
  2. Click terminal. The Credit Card Readers page opens in a new browser window.

  1. Click on the device image for additional information. The device details page opens.
  2. Review the device details. Then, click ADD TO CART to purchase the device. The SHOPPING CART page opens.
    • To review the other device details, click ALL PRODUCTS to return to the home page.
  3. Click BUY NOW to check out. The GUEST CHECKOUT page opens.

  1. Enter the contact information to receive a validation code: Email address or Phone (mobile phone only).
    • To register for an account, click to select "Register for an account with POS Portal".
      Note: The account will be created during the checkout process.
    • To log into an existing account, click Login here. Enter the associated Email Address and Password. Then, click Login.
  2. Click CONTINUE. The Checkout Method page opens and a validation code is sent to the email or mobile phone number entered.
    Note: The email is sent from POS Portal retailsales@posportal.com

  1. Enter the validation code received via email or SMS text. Then, click CONTINUE. The Billing Information section expands.
  2. Enter the Billing Information, Shipping Information, Shipping Method, and Payment Information as necessary. Then, click CONTINUE. The next section expands.
    • If "Register for an account with POS Portal" was selected, enter and confirm a Password.
  3. Review the order details and follow the instructions on the page to complete the order. The confirmation page opens with the order number. A confirmation email will be sent with details and a link to track the order progress.

Once the device is received, complete the device setup and pair the device in the Tebra web platform.
