Find, View, Edit Appointment

Once an appointment is created, you can find, view, and edit the appointment at any time.

Find Appointment

  1. Click Appointments > Find Appointment. The Find Appointment window opens.
    Note: The calendar and the All Appointments Report can also be used to find and view appointment details.
    Tip: For faster navigation, click the Find Appointment icon on the Toolbar or press F8 on the keyboard.

  1. Use the filters as necessary.
    • Look For: Enter all or part of a keyword for the appointment in the search bar.
    • Search In: Click the drop-down arrow to select a specific field (e.g., Patient, Subject, Location) to search.
    • Between: Enter a date range for the appointment.
  2. Then, click Find Now. The search results are listed.

View/Edit Appointment

  1. Find the appointment then double click to open. The Appointment Details window opens.
    • If viewing, click Cancel or X (on the right side of the Appointment Details title bar) to close the window when finished.
      • If viewing a recurring appointment, select to open the occurrence or the series to view.
      • To view when the appointment or recurring appointment was created, last modified, and by which user, select the Log tab.
      • To view documents related to the appointment, select the Documents tab.
      • To view tasks related to the appointment, select the Tasks tab.
    • If editing, continue to step 2.
      • If editing a recurring appointment, select to open the occurrence or the series to edit. Then, continue to step 2.
  2. Make the necessary changes to the General tab information, select the Documents tab to view or add documents, select the Tasks tab to view or add tasks related to the appointment.
  3. When finished, click Save.
