Release Notes July 2025

On July 23, 2025, your Tebra account will be upgraded to the latest version. Features will be available the following day with the exception of specified timelines.

Billing

Billing General Improvements

  • For claims billing purposes, practices can now override the rendering provider's taxonomy code under the advanced Override Claim Settings.
  • Secondary electronic claims submission for Institutional (UB-04) is now supported.
  • Institutional (UB-04) condition, value, point of origin, and facility codes were updated.
  • For Self-Service Enrollments practices, Proof of Timely Filing (POTF) can now be generated for claims successfully submitted after May 8, 2025.

Billing Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue where some customers were not receiving documents through kFax
  • Fixed an issue where message replies intended for specific providers were visible to all users
  • Fixed an issue where the billing tasks would not load for some practices
  • Fixed an issue where automated statements stopped and will now resume for Automated Patient Billing enabled practices with custom holidays configured in their account

Clinical

Clinical General Improvements

  • When prescribing a medication, providers can now view 700+ drug favorites.
  • Error messages for eLabs now specify what information is missing (e.g., Missing Insurance Address, Guarantor Name Required, Guarantor Relationship Required, etc.) and what action items are required.
  • The prescription form layout has been optimized to maintain accessibility standards and reduce scrolling for provider efficiency.
  • Ironbridge immunization exports now export as HL7 files based on each service location ID where the immunizations were administered.

Clinical Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue where users experience a continuous loading icon or an error message when accessing the app
  • Fixed an issue where providers were unable to prescribe custom drugs
  • Fixed an issue where creating a group note from the appointment removed the patients from the group appointment and the note is not associated to the patients in the appointment
  • Fixed an issue where the status of the note and charge for AI Notes does not update on the dashboard
  • Fixed an issue where the incorrect MRN displayed on referrals
  • Fixed an issue where users were intermittently unable to upload new documents to a lab order
  • Fixed an issue where lab order ICD-10 codes for were not transmitted to Quest
  • Fixed an issue where some supervising provider names were missing when prescribing a medication
  • Fixed an issue where allow substitution was not checked by default when prescribing a medication
  • Fixed an issue where providers received an error message when attempting to prescribe Sertraline/Zoloft or Melatonin
  • Fixed an issue where providers received an error message when attempting to prescribe an EPCS favorite
  • Fixed an issue where users received an error message when attempting to create a new eLab order when the patient's name contains quotes

Engage General Improvements

  • Tebra has modernized the Patient Intake Forms to provide patients a smoother experience across all intake forms on mobile devices.
  • Tebra is migrating practice scheduling pages to Tebra Care Connect to deliver a more modern, mobile-friendly booking experience. This update helps improve your practice’s online presence and makes it easier for patients to book appointments. This update will be deployed to customers in phases and completed by end of August 2025.

Engage Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue where certain special characters were not supported in custom intake forms

Patient Experience

Bulk AI Review Reply

Bulk AI Review Replies and the Weekly Review Summary Emails streamlines and further automates the review response process by unlocking AI at scale, making it easier than ever for practices to engage with patient feedback, improve their online reputation, and drive more patient trust—all while saving valuable time.

This feature proactively delivers weekly reputation summaries on Sunday nights with new review alerts from the previous 7 days directly to the email inboxes of providers, while also reducing the time required to respond to reviews from minutes to seconds.

This feature is only available for Practice Operation subscribers with Patient Experience.

Bulk Reply Workflow

Note: The Bulk AI Review Reply workflow can only be initiated from the email.
  1. Navigate the Weekly Review Summary email.
    1. Patient Reviews: Up to 5 patients reviews displays in the email.
    2. Unsubscribe: Click to unsubscribe from the week review summary email.
      Note: System Administrators can configure the provider's email preference in User Settings.
  2. Click Reply to Your Reviews in Bulk. The Bulk Review Reply page opens.

  1. Review the AI-powered replies.
    • To draft another reply, click Generate New.
  2. Click Reply to Reviews when finished.

Configure Email Preference

By default, the option to send the email is selected. If applicable, System Administrators can deselect the option to unsubscribe the user from the email.
  1. Access the provider user account.
  2. Click to clear "Receive weekly online reviews recap in your inbox".
  3. Click Save when finished.

  • Fixed an issue where users were unable to click Confirm to complete 2FA on a mobile device
