Message Center: Sending Limits

Updated: 05/09/2024|Views: 58

Message sending limits has been implemented in the Message Center to help protect against potential phishing attempts by malicious actors.

If you have any questions or concerns about the messaging limits or security practices, contact Customer Care for assistance.

Messaging Rate Limits

These rate limits and guidelines are designed to enhance the security of our platform and protect both users and practices from potential security threats, including phishing attempts by hackers.

Here's what you need to know about the messaging rate limits:

  • Sending too many messages within a short period may result in a 1-minute disablement.
  • A maximum of 20 patients can be added to a new patient email or text message.
  • Replying to existing messages is unlimited for users.

You may need to wait up to 1 minute before you can successfully send your message. To safeguard your message content, consider copying and pasting it into a safe location to prevent any data loss.

Optimizing Your Message Sending Ability

To efficiently reach multiple recipients without hitting individual messaging limits, consider using the following features:

  • Patient Broadcast: For Engage subscribers, take advantage of the patient broadcast feature to send messages to scheduled patients on any given day.
