Billing General Improvements
- Tebra was updated with the new Medicare Fee Schedule (RVU, GPCI, Locality and Conversion Factor). Visit the CMS website for more general information about the HCPCS and Fee Schedules.
- Tebra now automatically splits ERAs when they contain encounters that were originally billed from another practice within the account. The split ERA will group encounters from the same originating account ID and practice ID into a slice of the parent ERA and deliver it to the corresponding practice. Feature will be deployed to customers in phases and completed by end of October 2024.
October 29, 2024 Update: Feature will be deployed to all customers by end of November 2024. - The Notes section of Patient records was updated to only display the last 25 notes with the option to show 25 more notes at a time.
- The All Appointments report now includes the patient's date of birth (DOB), insurance policy number, and group number.
- The All Appointments, Missed Charges, and Insurance Collections reports include usability enhancements such as:
- Maximized screen usage to allow for viewing more data.
- A new filter panel to simplify filter selections.
- New configuration controls, including the option to adjust report density and easily manage table columns.

- Fixed an issue where users received an error message when attempting to update all records on the Patient Change of Address Report

Clinical General Improvements
- Providers now have the option to search for and select available packaged drugs (e.g., Ketamine hcl powder).
- Practices can request the ability to manually update lab orders status from Pending to Results Ready. Contact Customer Care or the practice's Account Manager to enable this feature.
- For providers who were unable to prescribe controlled substances due to third party vendors overriding the provider's NPI with SureScripts, Tebra now has the ability to update prescriber information to prevent third party vendors from overwriting provider data from Surescripts.
- The Unsigned Notes report includes usability enhancements such as:
- Maximized screen usage to allow for viewing more data.
- A new filter panel to simplify filter selections.
- New configuration controls, including the option to adjust report density and easily manage table columns.
Clinical Resolved Issues
- Fixed an issue where the incorrect manufacturer was displayed for Meningococcal (GLAXOSMITHKLINE) vaccine
- Fixed an issue where Patient Education stopped suggesting documents based on problems and diagnosis codes
- Fixed an issue where Patient Education is not sending documents to the Patient Portal
- Fixed an issue where the family history section in a clinical note did not save after the note was closed
- Fixed an issue where users received an error when attempting to access the patient's Medications
- Fixed an issue where a renewed medication was printed with the original prescription quantity

Platform General Improvements
- The address validation for practice and service location addresses has been updated. To prevent billing rejections, Tebra recommends customers review existing practice and service location addresses for warnings and update as necessary.
Practice Growth
Automated AI Review Replies
Tebra’s AI-Generated Review Replies enables healthcare practices to quickly respond to patient reviews on Google through the power of AI. Responses are sentiment-based replies, saving time and enhancing patient engagement while improving online reputation and trust. This feature is only available for Practice Growth or Patient Experience direct practice subscribers. Feature will be available by the end of September 2024.

Practices can now schedule appointments from the Patient page to automatically populate the patient's demographics in the appointment.
