On July 22, 2026, your Tebra account will be upgraded to the latest version. Features will be available the following day with the exception of specified timelines.

Customer Care Portal

On July 16, 2026, Tebra introduced a new and improved support experience, the Customer Care Portal.

The Customer Care Portal is built to help you get answers and assistance faster. With this new experience, you’ll be able to:

  • Access support resources in one location
  • Find answers faster through an improved knowledge base
  • Submit and manage support requests more efficiently
  • Stay informed about updates and support activities

Billing

AI Billing Assistant

Tebra’s AI Billing Assistant includes the AI Claim Review and Unapproved Encounters report features. AI Claim Review gives billers a second set of expert eyes before claims are submitted, helping catch issues early, reduce denials and avoid costly rework. The Unapproved Encounters report lists the denial risk level and probability allowing billers to quickly identify and prioritize encounters that require further review.

Run AI Claim Review

  1. Create a new encounter or edit an encounter. The New Encounter or Edit Encounter window opens.
  2. Click AI Claim Review at the bottom of the window. The AI Claim Review runs then the Denial Probability banner displays.

  1. Select the AI Claim Review tab. The AI Claim Review information displays.

  1. Scroll as necessary to review the details, potential issues, and recommended resolutions.
  2. When finished, select the General tab to return to the encounter then update and complete the encounter as necessary.

View Unapproved Encounters Report

  1. Click Analytics > Encounters > Unapproved Encounters. The Unapproved Encounters report opens and displays encounters with a Draft, Review, or Rejected status within the past seven days by default.

  1. Review the list of encounters.
    Note: The list of encounters include unapproved encounters created in the Desktop Application (PM) and charges created and sent from the web application.
    • Encounter Summary: Displays the Risk Level and Denial Probability to help prioritize encounters that need additional review. Scroll as necessary to view more information.
    • Procedure Details: To view the procedure details, click the arrow on the left of the encounter ID number to expand.
  2. Click the Encounter ID to open, review, update and complete the Encounter as necessary.

Billing General Improvements

  • Practices experiencing issues generating proof of timely tiling (POTF) from within the Desktop Application (PM) for claims submitted electronically to Trizetto can now generate POTF from within the web platform as a temporary solution while our engineering team builds the permanent, long-term solution. For more information, review Proof of Timely Filing.

Billing Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue where users experienced blank windows when using Parallels for the Desktop Application (PM) 
  • Fixed an issue where electronic claims submitted through Jopari did not display the current claim statuses 
  • Fixed an issue where users received an error message when attempting to upload a file when sending a message to another staff member
  • Fixed an issue where users were unable to successfully dismiss the Tebra Checklist from the web platform Dashboard
  • Fixed an issue where Patient Collect (Stripe) activated practices received an error when collecting a payment using the WisePOS E Terminal

Clinical

Wiley Treatment Planner

Tebra’s Wiley Integration provides your clinical team with the gold standard of evidence-based care templates directly in their workflow. This ensures your practice stays compliant, documentation remains high-quality, and your therapists spend more time with patients and less time typing.

Feature available for Clinical subscribers for an additional subscription fee per month per provider. Review the Pricing Policy for more information.

Enable Wiley Treatment Planner
  1. Access User Settings.
  2. Click Learn More next to Wiley Treatment Planner. The Module Details page opens.
  3. Click Activate Subscription on the Wiley Treatment Planner section. The Purchase Wiley Treatment Planner page opens.

  1. By default, all active providers are selected to activate the Wiley Treatment Planner subscription.
    • If applicable, click to remove a provider.
  2. Click Continue. The Confirm Purchase of Wiley Treatment Planner page opens.
  3. Review the Terms of Service and click “I agree to Tebra’s Terms of Service” to proceed.
  4. Click Confirm. The Wiley Treatment Planner is activated for the provider(s).

Access Wiley Treatment Plan
  1. Access a patient’s chart.
  2. Click the + Create Treatment Plan drop-down and select Wiley Treatment Plan. The Treatment Plan page opens.

  1. Start Date: Defaulted to today's date. If necessary, select a new start date.
  2. Target Completion Date: Click to select a date from the calendar picker.
  3. Problem: Search for and select a problem.
  4. Diagnosis: Click to select the diagnosis based on the selected problem.
  5. Goals: Click to select the goals.
    Note: Available options are based on the selected problem.
  6. Objectives & Inventions: Click to select an objectives. Select the inventions under the selected objective.
    Note: Available options are based on the selected problem.
    • If applicable, click the Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) tab to show all objectives based on best practices.
  7. Review the document preview on the right panel. Edit the treatment plan details, as necessary.
  8. Once the treatment plan is complete, click to select “I attest that I have reviewed this treatment plan and authorize this as my official electronic signature.”. Then, click Finalize & Sign Plan. The status of the treatment plan changes to Final and is now available on the Notes page to monitor the patient's progress.
  9. To capture the patient signature, coordinating provider signature, and/or guardian signature, click Download PDF or Print to generate the document.

Clinical General Improvements

  • Tebra upgraded the Notes List to provide a more reliable and accurate clinical documentation experience, complete with updated role and status filtering, preserved pagination, and automatic migration for all historical notes. Feature will be deployed to customers in phases and completed by end of July 2026.

  • Fixed an issue where users received an error message when attempting to generate a patient education PDF
  • Fixed an issue where users received an error message when attempting to access a patient’s treatment plan
  • Fixed an issue where the patient’s referral document time stamps incorrectly displayed one day later
  • Fixed an issue where labs were missing when printing the patient’s chart
  • Fixed an issue where users were unable to view, manage, or delete drug favorites from the list
  • Fixed an issue where providers were unable to successfully send a continuity of care via UpDox
  • Fixed an issue where problems added to the assessment section of the clinical note is not saved in the correct section
  • Fixed an issue where users were unable to deactivate system generated note types
  • Fixed an issue where the Immunization exports are showing as Unknown when the patient demographic option Hispanic or Latino is marked as Decline to Specify
  • Fixed an issue where patient names were not displayed on the Lab and Studies page

Enhancement: Calendar Scheduling Drawer

Streamline your practice’s scheduling workflow with Tebra's new scheduling drawer. Office staff can now manage schedules, individual or group appointments, breaks, and time off directly from the calendar view—allowing them to instantly spot scheduling conflicts, adjust time blocks, and save valuable administrative time without ever losing their place.

Feature will be deployed to customers in phases and completed by end of August 2026.

Review Scheduling Drawer
  1. Access the Calendar.
  2. Click on an open time slot. The New Event panel opens.
  3. Available options:
    1. Appointment: By default, the appointment tab opens. Enter details to schedule a patient appointment.
    2. Group Appt: Click the tab to schedule a group appointment with multiple patients.
    3. Other: Click the tab to schedule internal timeblocks (e.g., staff meetings) without linking a patient.
    4. Schedule: Click the tab to set color-coded blocks for specific appointment types, visit reasons, procedures, etc.
    5. Break: Click the tab to set breaks and block appointments from being scheduled during a specific time.
    6. Time Off: Click the tab to add a scheduled time off (e.g., vacation) to the calendar.
  4. To manage an existing appointment or time block, click the time slot to open the edit panel.

Platform General Improvements

  • Tebra has introduced automatic SMS backups for appointment confirmations, ensuring patients without an email on file receive a text confirmation.
  • Patients can now access a provider's Tebra Care Connect profile directly from the Online Scheduling window to easily review their specialties and background before booking.

  • Fixed an issue where users received an error message when attempting to change an appointment status in the Platform and the same appointment cannot be found in the Desktop Application (PM)
  • Fixed an issue where patients appointment confirmation messages display as a new message in the Message Center
  • Fixed an issue where the providers sub-specialties incorrectly displayed on the practice’s Tebra Care Connect profile
  • Fixed an issue where users were unable to successfully dismiss the Tebra Checklist from the Dashboard
